What if THIS Was All it Took to be Extraordinary

Extraordinary…

All it takes is ordinary and extra coming together.

An extra two millimeters of ordinary effort can take you from good to great, but only if you commit to making them happen.

Set the alarm a half an hour earlier.

Exercise for 20 minutes a day.

Keep a journal.

Quit caffeine.

Eat well.

Think.

Make one change today to stoke something inside you; one extra, ordinary change to thin the distance between good and great.

At 211 degrees, water is hot.

At 212, it rolls to a boil.

The best are rewarded disproportionately.

Every Olympian is a phenomenal athlete, but only the medalists make the bold type.

The gold medal is YOURS.

All it takes is ordinary and extra coming together.

    Grrrrrreat post, Sean!

I’m sure I’ve read stuff like this before but the way you put it together? You found that extra 2mm, didn’t you? ;)

  2. Sean says:

    Yup, it’s all about the 2mm! :)

    Thanks!

  3. Dave says:

    I love this post Sean.

It’s short and sweet but packed with power.

I think there’s a great deal of truth in your point that the best are rewarded disproportionately – and that’s why it’s worth the extra effort.

So, my mission today is to put in a little extra! :)
