The following is a rolling portfolio, covering everything Ghostwriter Dad published in the previous week which bore our name. Similar to what we do each week at the Creative Copy Challenge, the idea here is to take the anchor text from the necessary links to tell a little story.
Enjoy!
This week was a huge one at our newest site, Creative Copy Challenge. We started out early in the week with Challenge #5, which quickly shot to over 50 comments. We published a follow-up on Friday. Challenge #6, unbelievably enough, should finish out at over 100!
David published a wonderfully funny, “Post He Almost Didn’t Write,” over at Blogger Dad. He also got started on an awesome new website design that we’ll be unveiling in a couple of weeks. It’s a smart site which will allow us to sew together a lot of our parenting and early childhood sites, from Potty Training Power to Children Write the Future.
The site is simple and smart. We look forward to sharing it soon.
Sean’s wife, Cindy, published a touching piece to celebrate her daughter’s birthday. It was a nice contrast from her earlier post which discussed the normal yet not too fun to discuss, toddler fear of poop. Cindy and Sean worked together to write, Sharing Our Present, over at Children Write the Future.
Sean launched DAD!, his second feature at Writer Dad. He kicked the series off with You’ll Shoot Your Eye Out Kid!, a story of a BB gun triggering a hostage situation. Yes, really. He let that stew for a day before telling a story about his friend who is currently in search of genuine friends.
He capped off the week with a post encouraging his readers to check out the Inkwell, and the awesome work Dave had done. There isn’t a whole lot of crossover audience there, but he thought it was a good week to send some visitors considering he had his personal letter to Stephen King in addition to the post about the three different types of author. And, of course, he’s always looking for new Available Darkness readers, and his post at Writer Dad just happened to coincide with Chapter 36 of The Darkness.
