We’re Sean Platt and David Wright, a team of direct response marketing specialists who deliver crystal clear, creative, friendly content to help your business grow to its fullest potential.
Sean Platt owned a successful flower shop for a dozen years where he purchased 5,000 roses per week from farms around the world, booked lavish weddings for an endless parade of blushing brides, and learned to blend color and texture to optimum effect in both the flowers surrounding him and the business beneath his feet.
Surrounded by flowers, Sean saw the ceaseless beauty of everyday life and left the store after the birth of his second child, opened a pre-school with his wife, and discovered he was a writer.
Sean started Writer Dad, a rough draft daily blog where he sharpened his writing and waded deep into the depths of social media. Sean met somewhat instant success, writing for Copyblogger (the biggest copywriting site on the net) in his second month online. He still writes for Copyblogger to this day, but has also written for many of the largest blogs on the web, including ProBlogger, and Zen Habits (just to name two).
Sean was born to write and loves to sell. He arranges his words with the same careful consideration and precise eye for friendly business that kept every wedding season booked at his flower shop booked solid for over a decade.
Sean lives in Southern California with his wife, daughter and son.
David Wright is a former newspaper reporter and editorial cartoonist with a knack for breaking down complex issues and delivering them in an easy-to-understand format. His writing experience covers the gamut of newspaper reporting from local government, business, crime, technology to human interest features.
His specialty is writing with heart and humor, which he has been doing at the family-friendly Blogger Dad since last summer.
His comic strip Todd and Penguin has been syndicated by KeenSpot Entertainment since 2005 and has appeared in several newspapers and collected in the book Todd and Penguin:Embrace Your Inner Dork published by KeenSpot Entertainment.
Armed with an extraordinary eye for detail and an artist’s perspective, David offers unique illustrations and comics for web sites, e-books, presentations, books and pretty much anything else you need.
David lives in Florida and is married with a two year old son.
